The Badlands Beer Garden is the perfect, vibrant space with city views, to host your next party or event, any time of year.

This section of the beer garden consists of two main areas that are available for hire on Friday and Saturday nights.  Combined, they are also available for exclusive/private hire on other nights of the week.

Undercover Section

The Undercover Section of the Badlands Beer garden is covered by an automated roof making it the perfect space to hire all year around.  If the weather is nice, you can have the roof open to see the stars, or it can be closed during periods of rain, to keep your guests warm and dry.

This space suits group sizes up to 100.

Key features of the Undercover Section of the beer garden are:

  • This area can be roped off for the exclusive use of your guests;
  • Coloured festoon lights overhead help to create a relaxed party vibe;
  • You can add decorations to the space;
  • The space is fully turfed, furnished and ready for use;
  • There is a fully stocked bar for your guests to access just metres away;
  • Music into this space is controlled by Badlands and cannot be tailored for your group;
  • Ability to bring your own cake and store it in our coolroom;
  • $5 happy hour runs in your event space between 6pm and 7pm (on Friday and Saturday nights);
  • This area has built in heaters for use in cooler weather;
  • Catering for your guests can be arranged via our awesome new neighbours at Eat Yard who do a range of yummy platters that are flexible enough to meet all of your guests dietary needs;
  • There is no hire fee for this space, however, we do charge a $100 deposit to hold the space for you, which is refunded in full via cash or a bar card on the night of your event (on Friday and Saturday nights).

Umbrella Section

The Umbrella Section of the Badlands Beer garden is covered by large, permanent umbrellas with guttering in between, creating a great, informal outdoor space for use all year round.

This space is ideal for group sizes of up to 40 guests.

Key features of the Umbrella Section of the beer garden are:

  • A space with high tables and stools is reserved for your guests;
  • Coloured festoon lights overhead help to create a relaxed party vibe;
  • The space is fully turfed, furnished and ready for use;
  • There is a fully stocked bar for your guests to access just metres away;
  • Music into this space is controlled by Badlands and cannot be tailored for your group;
  • Ability to bring your own cake and store it in our coolroom;
  • $5 happy hour runs in your event space between 6pm and 7pm (on Friday and Saturday nights);
  • We have heaters on site to ensure your guests are comfortable;
  • Catering for your guests can be arranged via our awesome new neighbours at Eat Yard who do a range of yummy platters that are flexible enough to meet all of your guests dietary needs;
  • There is no hire fee or minimum spend for this space (on Friday and Saturday nights).
