Badlands Bar has the perfect outdoor spaces to host your milestone birthday, engagement party or social event and these areas are available for hire 7 nights a week.

The Badlands “Ivy Gardens” provide you with a stunning private space to host your guests.

For larger scale events, Ivy Gardens 1 and 2 can be joined together to make one large space.

Ivy Garden # 1

Ivy Garden #1 is the biggest of the two private outdoor spaces and can comfortably cater to group sizes of up to 200 guests.

Key features of Ivy Garden # 1 are:

  • This area is reserved for the exclusive use of your guests;
  • It contains a beautifully lit tree surrounded by an amazing raised deck area;
  • Your own private, fully stocked and staffed sea container bar;
  • Overhead fairy lighting to help set the mood;
  • Ability to plug in your playlist from your device into our PA system to tailor the party vibes to your guests;
  • We can provide you with a microphone for speeches (if required);
  • You can decorate/theme the space as much as you like;
  • The space is fully turfed, furnished and ready for use;
  • Ability to bring your own cake and store it in our coolroom;
  • $5 happy hour runs in your event space between 6pm and 7pm (on Friday and Saturday nights);
  • Heaters and marquees can be provided in case of poor weather conditions on the night of your event; and
  • Catering for your guests can be arranged via one of our great on-site food trucks.
  • The hire fee for this space is $450, with no further fees or minimum spends being applicable (on Friday and Saturday nights).

Ivy Garden # 2

Ivy Garden #2 is slightly smaller than the neighbouring Ivy Garden #1.

This outdoor space can comfortably cater to group sizes of 120 guests.

Key features of Ivy Garden # 2 are:

  • This area is reserved for the exclusive use of your guests;
  • Your own private, fully stocked and staffed sea container bar;
  • Overhead fairy lighting to help set the mood;
  • Ability to plug in your playlist from your device into our PA system to tailor the party vibes to your guests;
  • We can provide you with a microphone for speeches (if required);
  • You can decorate/theme the space as much as you like;
  • The space is fully turfed, furnished and ready for use;
  • Ability to bring your own cake and store it in our coolroom;
  • $5 happy hour runs in your event space between 6pm and 7pm (on Friday and Saturday nights);
  • Heaters and marquees can be provided in case of poor weather conditions on the night of your event;
  • Catering for your guests can be arranged via one of our great on-site food trucks; and
  • The hire fee for this space is $300, with no further fees or minimum spends being applicable (on Friday and Saturday nights).
